"Kobe Luminarie" is one of the most famous illumination events in Japan held every winter.

It was first held in December 1995, when the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake struck, as a requiem for the victims of the earthquake and to show hope and dreams for the reconstruction and revival of the city.

Since then, the event has been held with the support of many people as an event to pass on the lessons of the earthquake and symbolize the hope of Kobe.

It has been decided that the anniversary of the 30th event will be held. The dates and other details are as follows.

Higashi-Yuenchi, Former Foreign Settlement, Meriken Park
※ A part of the Meriken Park venue are charged areas. Illumination of cooperative projects will also be held in Kitano and other areas.
